My friends and I always play this course early in the season to prepare for golfing trekking around with our many in our group. Played this course early when tee box colors we're not out and weather was cold and nippy. The course is very average but harder that what most would expect. Very hilly and the greens are always elevated and very small. Fairways are not manicured but shaved grass and course gets much play because of the cost and location to many communities. Still a fun course to play but I would not take our large group who travel much to this location. Fin course to just give a call with a friend and get out and play. Course is wide open with little danger. Plays long because of fairways not manicured and also fact that no senior tees exist. They normally have some good food and drink but was not stoked on the day we played. Many leagues utilize this course.

Challenging...yet fair. Rewards good shots while not overly penalizing the "not so good" shots. In great shape this early in the season. Was in excellent shape all of last season. Staff extremely helpful and accomodating. Nice guys and gals. Played all the couses in the area and this is my No. 1 choice.

My group enjoys the challenge of the course. We play every Saturday. The smaller than usual greens are a real test of your skill; however not so much so that it takes away from the fun experience...Really in great shape compared to other courses in the area which have suffered winter damage. Understand they are adding some sand traps which will make this sporty course even better ! Very accomadating....

Played behind two groups that took over 5 1/2 hours to play during a early Saturday round.Their was a 2/3 hole gap in front of them. No ranger and Pro Shop guy told us to skip two holes and jump ahead.Tees were alful and course not in really great shape. Greens were OK. I had played the course a couple years ago and it was in much better shape.Did not seem like anybody cared about the slow play!

My friends and I always play this course a couple of times each season with the closeness of the facility. The fairways need a bit more manicuring and the greens are extremely small with difficulty holding shots. It is extremely hilly and plays harder than most would expect. Enjoyable with friends but not one of the best courses in the local area. One can also play White Hawk, Palmira, Minne Monesse, River Pointe just to name a few with just as low rates and nicer courses. The staff always welcomes us and the food/bar facilities is very welcoming. We still enjoy the course and will always return. There are always many playing the course due to their hospitality and cost to play. Longest round this season.

Tuckaway review August 15 ,2017 "Greener Fairways Else Where" Your money is better spent else where ! Needed a jack hammer to set in a tee !!! They say fairways are watered ??? Not so sure about that . A tee off lofted drive upon landing will bound 20 /30 in the air because of dry fairway conditions . The rough seems to be left long because of lack of watering . This results in "pain staking slow play " due to trying to locate your ball. You will Not be taking divots on this course . Greens ok but all are small and crowned . Difficult to hold your approach shots Green fees are reasonable . Here you get to play on rock hard ground . The old saying “you get what you pay for “ fits . Given a choice ,There are much better courses nearby one can play
